If you’ve ever been to the Rochester Farmers Market, you’ve likely seen Sharon Su selling her made-from-scratch pastries and bread. We’re huge fans of her work (who’s not a fan of a fresh-baked, made from scratch croissant?), so when Sharon reached out looking for a brand update, we jumped at the chance to collaborate, with the help of a Keep It Local grant from the City of Rochester.
We focused on updating Persimmon’s visual identity, working with Sharon to develop new logos and improve the supporting design elements of her brand. While logo development is a huge part of any project, we’re especially excited to see Persimmon’s overhauled on-site branding in action; we re-designed the menus, booth signage, and even the pastry packaging itself.
While Sharon continues to work as a software engineer (!!) when she’s not baking our favorite treats, we hope this round of re-designs helps her take this pastry project to the next level. We’re rooting for her success, and super glad to be part of Persimmon’s future!
